Education

EFI’s team provides standard and customized courses in several formats:

  • EFI PrintSmith University Campus Workshops: The workshops are taught at EFI’s training center in Scottsdale, AZ. The classes offer educational opportunities to learn about installing and setting up EFI PrintSmith features and options. The 12-person classroom setting also provides a friendly atmosphere that encourages learning.

  • EFI’s PrintSmith User Group Conference: EFI hosts Connect, a venue that offers companies and users an array of sessions catering to all their print management needs. The show offers participants’ opportunities to meet with product experts, discuss strategies and solutions, try product demos and gain insight into EFI solutions.

EFI PrintSmith´s CustomerAssist programs offer support options for the PrintSmith system. The programs are designed to help companies´ with all solution issues. Plans include software updates, Internet communications and one-on-one phone support. Below is high-level overview of our services.

Complimentary Assistance

All EFI PrintSmith systems include FREE 180-day DirectAssist support starting at the time of purchase. This support includes software updates, toll-free phone support and Internet communications, In addition, a status bar within PrintSmith links to all pertinent EFI PrintSmith online documentation and to EFI Printsmith.com.

Toll-Free Plans

EFI PrintSmith offers person-to-person support through its toll-free number for users with annual support licenses. Below is an overview of the plans. For more information on specific plans, click on the EFI PrintSmith CustomerAssist Brochure.

  • Direct Assist Plan: This plan provides support benefits such as unlimited phone calls during business hours in the U.S., Canada and Europe with certain restrictions, rapid response within four hours, Internet/email support, and online access to all software updates on www.efi.com/support/print-mis/efi-printsmith/updates/
  • Priority Assistance Plan: The optional plan provides unlimited phone calls during business hours in the U.S., Canada and Europe with certain restrictions, guaranteed phone response, Internet/email support, ability to search EFI´s online knowledge base and free access to all software update.
