The solution is both powerful and flexible with customization tools and web based applications that allow your customers and your fulfillment team to work together seamlessly and efficiently – building strong, long term business relationships.

A Complete Fulfillment Solution

Many fulfillment operations begin with a single client looking for a one-stop print, inventory and fulfillment service. Not surprisingly, many of these fulfillment opportunities grow exponentially as client organizations realize the value of working with a single source for enterprise-wide fulfillment services – for everything from printing to coffee cups to golf balls and windbreakers. PrintStream is designed to address the full spectrum of fulfillment services, including:

Literature Fulfillment:

The printing and/or inserting of collateral pieces into folders, envelopes or packets for a single recipient or a small group. Example: Health benefits packets. PrintStream manages the details of fulfillment, billing and payment processing including the ability to accept and process credit card payments.

Product Fulfillment:

Similar process to literate fulfillment but includes shipping of an item(s) such as balls, pens, toys or other imprinted or non-printed material to a single recipient or small group. PrintStream addresses the detailed management of printed and non-printed customer inventories.

Special Events and Conference Fulfillment:

The base process is similar to literature and product fulfillment but usually requires a single bulk shipment to one location. PrintStream supports reliable counts, handling and communication – all critical because most customers will not be able to verify shipment until immediately before the event begins – with virtually no time to address product or process problems.

Kitting and Assembly:

Kitting can include everything from light assembly to complex kit builds including variable products and data. PrintStream can track counts, weights and values for individual items as well as the resulting kit. Likewise, the PrintStream solution tracks inventories and costs when returned kits need to be disassembled (exploded.)

Point of Purchase Displays:

Similar to Kitting and Assembly, but usually shipped to corporate satellite or franchise locations. Point of Purchase fulfillment offers printers a lucrative value added opportunity by growing customer relationships with a one-stop print and distribute operation. Kits ordered by corporate satellites can include everything from special event collateral and signage to new store branding and wall displays. PrintStream is designed to make your business an invaluable corporate partner.

Return Processing:

Often overlooked as a revenue stream, the ability to efficiently manage returns of items you’ve shipped (and even items you did not ship) can be an important part of your overall fulfillment strategy. PrintStream is designed to track the disposition of returns, to manage returns with and without an RMA, and to provide customers with a detailed report of return activities and costs.

EFI PrintStream also provides:

  • Detailed Customer Maintenance: Flexible functional structure in terms of customers, divisions, departments, sub-departments, and cost centers – including the ability to capture customer preferences with respect to fulfillment operations.
  • Multiple Contacts: Ability to maintain and manage multiple addresses and contacts.
  • Order Codes: Ability to create project, order, and source codes with unique processing rules, recipient types, pick logic, backorder rules, behavior and workflows.
  • Kit Definitions: Ability to define kit definitions including bill of materials and maintenance.
  • Revision Numbers: For inventory items and kits.
  • Price Lists: Ability to build and maintain price lists.
  • Territories: Ability to define and maintain territories for reporting and analysis.
  • Projects: Ability to define and maintain customer projects with option to associate a project to one or more departments, sub-departments or cost centers.
