EFI SendMe Support Overview
The value of office technology extends far beyond the installation of the product but to the life time support of the software and hardware to ensure that the productivity gains extend far into the future. EFI considers high levels of software product quality and customer satisfaction critical to the success of our business strategy.
EFI provides Tier 3 software support for the EFI SendMe solution to major distributors / partners. This support focuses on providing the distributor with escalation support, and other services to help improve the distributor’s / partner’s ability to support the channel and end-users. End-users will call their distributors / partners for Tier 1 and 2 support issues who will triage and solve their customers’ issues. Those items that require additional support, the distributor / partners will contact EFI directly and escalate a minority of issues to EFI phone support. EFI will provide patches/updates and other services for our partners. EFI can also provide, for a fee, education services to provide the distributor / partner the skills and knowledge to provide other value added services to the end user.
To ensure that the end users receive the most updated software and services and have access to additional product information, it is mandatory that each unit be purchased with at least a 1-year software support plan.
